Surachai has been working with RSM since 2001.

Prior to joining RSM Surachai accumulated a vast amount of experience in financial accounting and auditing having commenced his professional working career in 1991.  He has worked for some of the largest and most respected international business advisory and consulting firms in the world, including Price Waterhouse Coopers and KPMG. While working for PWC in Thailand during the 1997 economic crisis he was Manager in Charge of Special Work for the Financial Sector Restructuring Authority.  Later, while working for PWC in Laos, Surachai was appointed Manager in Charge of a large number of non-profit organizations funded by the European Commission, the Netherlands Red Cross, a major land titling project, and the Vientiane Integrated Urban Development Project. 

Surachai also has significant experience dealing directly with the Stock Exchange of Thailand on behalf of clients.  He has assisted clients in restructuring their financial status in accordance with Securities and Exchange Commission regulations, preparing and submitting financial statement projections to the SET for listing consideration, and preparing share valuation systems and initial public offering prices for newly listed companies.

Surachai has been involved as a team leader over a number of years in various professional audit assignments in a range of industries including manufacturing, services, oil, gas and telecommunications. Having experience of both local and international auditing firms, Surachai has also participated in several special audit assignments in relation to financial due diligence reviews and other consulting services.

As team leader he has managed statutory audits of both listed and non-listed companies as well as special audit assignments of deferred tax reconciliations of International subsidiaries, multinational corporations, and financial due diligences. In addition, he has considerable experience in the process of the listing of a private company on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Surachai is the joint head of RSM's audit capability in Thailand. He leads a strong audit team and has substantial knowledge to undertake special review assignments. Surachai is a fully certified practising Thai SEC Public company auditor.
