Working in Thailand since 1990, Mark has specialised in the application of Thai regulatory compliance to corporate clients and project management. His experience covers many industries, including manufacturing, construction, trading and service companies, and the environments in which these operate.

As a consultant advising clients with the selection of the business organisation and structure appropriate to their proposed operations in Thailand, Mark has assisted with the registration of a number of Thai limited companies in accordance with the Civil and Commercial Code and Alien Entities under the Foreign Business Act. He has also helped clients to obtain Board of Investment privileges, including tax incentives and land ownership and has supervised the provision of work permit and visa services for their expatriate staff.

Mark has developed an extensive understanding of local laws and customs, which has been utilised to assist international clients translate their business ideas into realistic projects which enables him to help clients to formulate practical solutions to any obstacles which are encountered while conducting business in Thailand.

He currently consults on business strategies for international investors who are active or seek to operate in Thailand including adaptation of international standards and management and reporting systems to fit the local business environment.

Mark has also supervised a number of accounting assignments, including  internal audit reviews for international construction companies and tax consulting assignments, including structures designed to optimise "cross border" tax efficiency.

Mark has been a director of the British Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (“BCCT”) since January 2003 and represents BCCT on the Joint Foreign Chambers Coordinating Committee which meets with Thai Government Agencies on a regular basis.
