The firm in Thailand is headed by three expatriate and three Thai professionals who together possess the full gambit of professional practice experience across Asia, the UK, the US and Australia.

Gareth Hughes, Chartered Accountant, Australia - Managing Director, RSM Thailand

Having commenced his professional working career in 2004, Gareth has widespread audit, insolvency, restructuring and business services related experience obtained in Thailand, the United Kingdom and Australia, covering a multitude of industries within both the private and public sectors. His industry specialisations include various corporations involved in manufacturing, construction, services, insurance, brokerage including Lloyds of London as well as public sector organisations. As Managing Director Gareth oversees all the operations of the Thailand office and its resources.

Mark Butters, CIPFA, United Kingdom - Director, RSM Thailand

Working in Thailand since 1990, Mark has specialised in the application of Thai regulatory compliance to corporate clients and project management. His experience covers many industries, including manufacturing, construction, trading and service companies, and the environment in which these operate. Mark has developed an extensive understanding of local laws and customs, which has been utilised to assist his international clients translate their business ideas into realistic projects. He helps clients to formulate practical solutions to any obstacles which are encountered while conducting business in Thailand.

Michael Holloway – Director of Recruitment and Human Resources, RSM Thailand

Mike has worked in Thailand since 1998, during which time he has developed an excellent track record with start up operations. Prior to coming to Thailand, Mike founded and ran a successful construction company in the USA but commenced his professional working career in the UK in 1986 for UK’s largest computer company. Once in Thailand, Mike moved to the Internet and spent the following two years as the start up representative of one of Europe's leading recruitment websites. In Bangkok, Mike also founded Thaigolfer.com - a leading golf website in Thailand.  

Prawit Wipusirikup, CPA, Thailand – Director and Audit Principal, RSM Thailand

Since commencing his professional working career in 1986, Prawit has managed various listed and non listed professional audit assignments in a range of industries including multinational corporations and financial institutions.  Having worked for both local and international auditing firms, Prawit has also participated in several special audit assignments in relation to financial due diligence reviews and other consulting services including internal audits and providing accounting advice on asset securitisation to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Prawit is a fully certified practising Thai SEC public company auditor.

Surachai Damnoenwong, CPA, Thailand – Director and Audit Principal, RSM Thailand

Surachai currently serves as an audit principal to RSM Audit Services (Thailand) Limited and his responsibilities include audit and assurance services as well as consulting to international investors in Thailand.  Surachai is a fully certified practicing Thai SEC public company auditor and commenced his professional working career in 1991. Surachai has been involved as a team leader for various professional audit assignments in a range of industries including manufacturing, services, oil & gas and telecommunications. Having worked for both local and international auditing firms, Surachai has also participated in several special audit assignments in relation to financial due diligence reviews and other corporate consulting services.

Pardorn Suchiva – Director and Legal Principal, RSM Thailand

Pardorn is a key member of RSM Thailand’s legal capacity and has a number of years experience in providing Corporate Legal Services to international companies operating in Thailand who have sought to establish complex legal structures to operate in environments that complement their areas of expertise.  His expertise and knowledge covers a diverse cross-section of legal frameworks including corporate, commercial, immigration, and labour laws as well as foreign investment procedures, real estate issues, commercial contract advice and litigation.  He is fluent in both Thai and English and commenced his professional working career in 1998.

Jirawan Jewpojaroen – CPA, Thailand, Accounting Manager, RSM Thailand

Jirawan joined the RSM team in 2004 having commenced her professional working career in 1993. She has experience in the statutory audit of both publicly listed and private held companies. She also provides a wide range of consultancy services, with respect to taxation and management accounting as well as the establishment of accounting systems and internal control compliance, to a number of corporate clients. Jirawan has been engaged in several tax review assignments for local and international corporations. She has experience in dealing with Revenue Department officials which has enabled her to assist a number of clients in finalising tax investigations in a pro-active manner. 

Chaitawat Amthiangtrong, CPA, Thailand, Accounting Manager, RSM Thailand

Chaitawat manages the accounting and taxation services department of RSM.  He has a number of years experience working in this field for a variety of well established companies having commenced his professional working career in 1992.  He has extensive experience in direct supervision of Accounting Department operations, month-end closing, annual reporting and all statutory reporting requirements. He provides corporate clients with accounting and tax consultation services. He coordinates with other departments to enhance the company’s profile within the market.  He also ensures the accuracy and completeness of accounting classifications for all company expenditures.  Chaitawat has been engaged in several tax review assignments (value added tax, withholding tax and corporate income tax) for local and international corporations. He has direct experience in dealing with Revenue Department officials and assists our clients in finalising tax investigations in a pro-active manner.

Lehum Chinnapan, CPA, Thailand – Audit Manager, RSM Thailand

Lehum joined RSM in 2004 and during her time here she has earned a reputation as a skilled and meticulous auditor.  She manages a strong and well established audit team and possesses substantial knowledge of audit standards and procedures.  As well as her competency in managing our audit team she has the capacity to undertake special review assignments.  Lehum has performed a number of professional audit assignments within a wide range of industries including construction, property development, manufacturing, trading and service.  She has gained practical experience in performing statutory audits of both listed and non-listed companies.  Lehum has participated in several special audit assignments including the internal audit of listed companies.   

Vanida Traitodsaporn, CPA, Thailand – Audit Manager, RSM Thailand

Vanida joined RSM in 2002 and since then has been working hard to build on the extensive practical knowledge she accumulated while working with Ford and Siam Lotus. Vanida has amassed 10 years of experience encompassing various areas of the highly technical work of auditing and accounting.  During her time at RSM she has successfully managed numerous audits of local and international companies.  Her in-depth experience has spanned a multitude of diverse businesses - from those operating in the manufacturing and construction industries to those within the service, trade, and financial sectors.   

Jaruvan Viboonsuk – Legal Manager, RSM Thailand

From the beginning of her career, Jaruvan has focused on developing her skills and experience in business law areas, particularly in investment matters. After graduating with an LL.M., she practiced in commercial litigation and contractual law primarily tasked with the settlement of breaches of contract and damages claims.  Jaruvan has assisted and advised international clients in several areas of Thai law including criminal matters, civil and commercial cases and, contract drafting and dispute resolution situations involving labour laws. Jaruvan currently serves as the company’s primary legal consultant in all areas relating to labour, contracts, regulation compliance, corporate documents and any related Thai law issues.

Sunisa Sema, CPA, Thailand –Assistant Manager, RSM Thailand

Sunisa has considerable audit and accounting related experience having commenced her professional working experience in 2000.  She joined the RSM audit team in 2004 and earned her Graduate Diploma in Auditing from a leading Thai University. During her time at RSM, Sunisa has diversified and refined her understanding of and capabilities within the field of auditing.  She also has been directly involved in numerous full and partial scope audit assignments for both listed and non-listed client organisations from a variety of different industries including: manufacturing, construction, trade, services, and finance.  She also has considerable internal audit experience and also played a significant role in the statutory audit of a non-profit charity organisation involved in ensuring the well being of refugees and displaced people in South East Asia which is registered in the United Kingdom.

Chookiet Sae-Tang, CPA, Thailand – Assistant Manager, RSM Thailand

Chookiet joined the RSM Audit and Assurance team in 2007 as a Senior Auditor.  With numerous years experience in the field of auditing he commenced his professional working career in 2001 and he brings to our team an extensive academic background and intricate working knowledge of audit procedures and methodologies.  He has been directly involved in a large number of audits for clients operating in a wide range of industries.  He has audited a variety of manufacturing, infrastructure development, and energy sector companies; advertising, real-estate and telecommunications firms and commercial service providers.  He has experience in the audit of both listed and non-listed companies.  

Suchadee Itticharoon – Senior Recruitment Consultant, RSM Thailand

Suchadee has been working at RSM since 2005. She is responsible for sourcing and interviewing potential candidates at the executive level.  She has been working in the area of executive recruitment for numerous years whilst she began her professional working career in 1995.  During her time as Branch Manager for an international executive recruitment company she was responsible for establishing operational procedures, internal recruitment and training of new staff, and the planning and development of sales strategies.  She has also participated in the development of recruitment operation software.

Sureeporn Thumvachiraporn – Senior Recruitment Consultant, RSM Thailand

Sureeporn joined RSM’s team of professional recruitment consultants in 2005. She has been working in this field with various international recruitment firms for a number of years having actually commenced her professional working career in 1999.  Her extensive range of practical experience covers all aspects of recruitment from administrative coordination of schedules, databases and incoming resumes, to assignment management and direct interaction with candidates and clients.  She has an intricate understanding of, and is continuously involved in, the entire recruitment process.
